What are your top 3 pitching tips for any entrepreneur?
- Enthusiasm is infectious – show your belief and determination to execute what you are doing – remember many investors invest in people first!
- First impressions matter – make the critical first 30-60 seconds count
- Rise above the noise - investors are flooded with pitches, make sure you get across your proposal in a clear and concise way early on in the pitch.
- Don’t be afraid to pivot as you gain a greater understanding of the market.
- Think big – is your idea truly globally scalable and does it solve a real problem?
- Don’t let perfection be the enemy of the good. The sooner you can get a product out and customers on board the better.
- Surround yourself with good people.
- Ask for advice! Most people are always happy to help or share some valuable insight. If you don’t ask, you won’t know what you are missing.
